Euro-Mat BFM-EC

EURO-MAT B.F.M-EC is a blended product, ready to use, 100% bio-degradable, and is made of “PREMIUM” wood and cellulose fibres (NFU code: 44- 4551) with the addition of stabilizing agents, germination activators and growth enhancers.

A Bonded Fibre Matrix (EURO-MAT B.F.M -EC) used in Hydromulching is active on 3 levels:

Provides a “Temporary” Anti-Erosion Protection for the medium term (>6 months <24 months):
This product acts like a real “barrier”, absorbing the impact energy of raindrops (the “splash” effect) whilst at the same time capturing rainwater from thunderstorms. Its performance level is comparable to that of ‘roll matrixes’ (Curlex, Needlefelt,…) or geotextiles made of vegetal fibres.

Accelerates Germination:
Its water retention capacity allows the seeds and seedlings to develop in a “controlled” environment where it concerns temperature and hydro stress, as temperature peaks are flatted out and evaporation/transpiration is being limited. The presence of germination activators and growth enhancers allows for quick establishment of the green cover.

Increases Performance Levels:
Applied hydraulically through a Hydroseeder, this product does not need any specific jobsite preparation nor fixation systems.
